The PMOSIG is a virtual organization with international representation. Where possible, the PMOSIG Board of Directors attempts to identify and sponsor events that enable PMOSIG members to not only to gain skills and expertise, but to facilitate interaction between members.
Local Interest Groups (LIGs)
Our most frequent networking opportunities exist with the PMOSIG Local Interest Groups. These are sanctioned meetings of PMOSIG members that are geographically near each other. Although most of our LIGs are associated with PMI Chapters, Chapter representation is not required to attend LIG meetings. Discussion Forum
As a PMOSIG member, you have access to our member discussion forum, delivered via e-mail on an "opt in" basis. The forum provides a medium to connect with members, ask questions, and get answers. We are currently preparing to re-launch the discussion forum. Members will receive information on the NEW discussion forum soon.
Congresses
The PMOSIG has a strong representation at each of the PMI Global Congresses. The SIG typically hosts a "member event" to allow PMOSIG members and potential members to meet each other, socialize, and share ideas. Additionally, the SIG holds its Annual Meeting as part of the PMI Global Congres--North America. This is the SIG's largest regular meeting.
