The Program Management Office Specific Interest Group (PMOSIG) is a virtual community with members around the globe. With a membership of 4,300 global members, 77% of members residing in North America, 12% in EMEA, 8% in Asia/Pacific, and 3% in Latin America. the PMOSIG is the largest global PMO focused association. Most members have a responsibility to specify PMO related tools and services with there organization. We are a very PMO-focused membership of practitioners, PMO management, and corporate management. Our annual PMO Symposium is the largest event of its type in the world with two and one half days of PMO speakers, knowledge exchange, and networking.

Some other key PMOSIG programs include:

• The new, member developed PMO Accord is the first of many informal series of white papers representing the perspective of many company environments.
• The PMOSIG has established a partnership with Forrester Research to provide PMO-directed studies to our PMOSIG members.
• A new, interactive and collaborative website is under development along with other communications vehicles where opportunities for sponsor exposure are possible.
• One of the new initiatives for 2009 is to reach for new memberships from the ranks of senior PMO management and corporate management.
• We are actively working directly with companies and their PMO teams as a new membership offering.

In 2009 and beyond, we are looking forward to many new and exciting programs to continue growing the value services for our members and to expand our membership.

To achieve this goal, sponsor support is critical. Sponsors contribute to our success by investing funds and resources to support special PMOSIG events and promotional opportunities throughout the year. We acknowledge and thank our sponsors for their support and encourage our members be aware of there services. Sponsors also receive the benefit of having the opportunity to present their solutions to a well-informed audience. We continue to look for new strategic relationships.

Through collaborative opportunities, the PMOSIG works together with sponsors to provide added value to both the PMOSIG membership and to our sponsors while advancing the PMOSIG mission.

The PMOSIG membership includes Program Management Office leaders, managers and practitioners. We look for vendors and service providers whose products and services are of benefit to our membership and advance the PMO community. Although the PMOSIG cannot necessarily recommend specific products or services, we can help you to define the type of value-added products and services we are seeking for our members.

When planning to advertise with us, we ask that you consider the following questions:

• How does my product/service advance the Project/Program/Portfolio Management Office profession?

Why does the PMOSIG need sponsorships?

The PMOSIG is a member-based organization comprised of dedicated volunteers who have the desire and leadership to advance the values of the PMOSIG and the evolving role of the Program Management Office. As a member-based organization, we receive revenues through small annual membership dues, event fees, advertising and corporate sponsorships.

Through collaborative opportunities, the PMOSIG partners with corporations to provide added value to both the PMOSIG membership and to our Corporate Partners in advancing the PMOSIG mission.
