The PMOSIG is an entirely volunteer run organization. Our success is dependent on the contributions of our members. As such we are always looking for people willing to contribute some of their time and effort to our community.

There are two main categories of volunteer opportunities. For those who would like to serve in a more permanent role, there are positions at the Board and Directors level. These positions are permanent and usually have terms of 1 to 2 years. In these positions, the volunteer would direct multiple projects and activities. For example, our Director of Events is responsible for planning all PMOSIG events including webinars, conferences and speaking engagements. These positions are often applicable for PDU credits.

We also have volunteer needs on a project by project basis. For these positions we look for a member to assist for a shorter period of time to help accomplish a given objective. For example, our Director of Events might need to put together a team to organize the PMOSIG presence at one of the PMI Global Congresses. The temporary volunteers would assist the Director in planning, scheduling and organizing the event. These positions may or may not be applicable towards PDU credits.
